Senior Unity Developer

We are looking for a creative and results-driven senior Unity developer to join the inspectAR team. In this role, you will make deep contributions to essential technologies that make our product unique, and you will hold the team to high standards by demonstrating good practices for code reviews, system design, documentation, testing, and quality software implementation. You have a commitment to getting things done, are people-centric, and can ultimately help us change the way electronics are worked on.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop new app features
• Work on an existing large codebase to improve current features and fix bugs
• Stay on the bleeding edge of AR technologies and frameworks
• Collaborate with QA to ensure extensive full app testing
• Provide code reviews for coworkers and guidance for less experienced engineers

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s of Science or advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or a related Bachelor’s of Arts or advanced degree in game design, and/or a related discipline
• 4+ years of industry experience building data-driven applications in Unity
• Strong .NET/C# skills
• Full software lifecycle application development – designing, coding, debugging applications
• Experience leading small teams and mentoring staff on software development standards
• Ability to evaluate and understand the potential performance impacts of various implementation possibilities and will make evidence-based recommendations on our path forward
• Experience with git or other version control systems
• Knowledge of Unity team project best-practices

Preferred:

• Augmented Reality experience
• Developed a cross-platform application. Ideally, one that runs on both desktop and mobile platforms
• Experience working with cloud-based systems and/or local servers
